Supporting riverside communities in the Amazon

NAPRA (Support Center for Amazonian Riverside Communities) is a private non-profit organization with a mission to support Amazonian riverside communities and train students and professionals for community action in the Amazonian context.
Since it relies entirely on volunteer work, member turnover is high, which occasionally causes brief interruptions in some of the organization's internal and external activities. Despite the ups and downs, the website has been maintained and updated since 2016 to keep pace with the organization's ever-evolving reality.
In its latest overhaul, the website underwent a deep aesthetic, structural, and conceptual renewal. Countless navigation flow revisions were made to streamline the experience for anyone discovering NAPRA for the first time or considering joining the organization.
Together with other organization members, all website content was mapped, reorganized, and distributed to be more comprehensible and accessible. The homepage, for instance, was carefully structured so its content gives each visitor direct access to what matters most to them.
The use of color, imagery, layout elements, type sizes, and font weights aims to feel organized while conveying a sense of simplicity and connection to nature.

NAPRA runs annual physical and digital recruitment campaigns to bring in new members. Print banners and social media assets were produced for these campaigns.
